Map Instructions
The following is a set of instructions for using the website. The instruction are broken into two parts: Basic Web Navigation and ArcIMS Functions. If you have have question about your web browser please refer to the help function in your particular browser.
Basic Web Navigation All webpages, except the ArcIMS map page, function just like any other webpage. Any titles with underlined blue writing are links to what that particular title describes.
ArcIMS Functions There are a few basic rules to know about ArcIMS. First, when you are viewing the map do not click the back button in your browser. REPEAT: DO NOT CLICK THE BACK BUTTON!!!!!!! Your browser will crash if you do this and you will have to start again. In addition, do not click the refresh button in your browser either. If you want to refresh the map, please click the "Layers" button and click "refresh this view" Also, ArcIMS does not like having the window maximized or resized. The image does not conform to the size you chose. This is an issue with the software that has not been address as of yet. The following is a list of buttons and the functionality.

As the name suggests this tool is used for zooming in on a location in the map. The location can be chosen as a point or by dragging a rectangle over the area in the map view where you want to zoom.
