Farm Bill Information
for Renewables
Thursday, May 15th, 2008 the Oklahoma Wind Power Initiative
along with the USDA hosted a
workshop on renewable energy and energy
efficiency. The workshop was held at the Oklahoma State
University-Oklahoma City campus. USDA representative, Jody Harris, provided information on
Section
9006 of the Farm Bill which is a program that provides grants and loan
guarantees to farmers,
ranchers, and rural small businesses. The deadline for
this program is June 16th, 2008. See
