DESCRIPTION: DESIGNED BY LAYTON, SMITH, & HAWK AND COMPLETED IN 1911, THIS BRICK, NEO-CLASSICAL BUILDING IS CAPPED BY A DISTINCTIVE DOME. IT WAS FEATURED IN THE MOVIE THE GRAPES OF WRATH AS THE JOAD FAMILY MOVED WEST ALONG ROUTE 66. LISTED IN THE NATIONAL REGISTER 8/23/84.
